Paul Bunyan & Babe Puzzle

Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox Puzzle

Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox Puzzle is a delightful take on one of the Midwest’s most popular legends.  Minnesota graphic artist Mark Herman designed this colorful 500 piece puzzle. In his day job, Mark creates logos for Fortune 500 companies. In his spare time, he depicts iconic Minnesota landmarks like Paul and Babe. We are happy that Mark has that spare to create!

If you can master this beauty you may wish to frame it. Mid-century, lodge, or modern, several decor styles would work well with this puzzle. The clean lines and rich colors make it a focal point in any room.

An 80 foot tall statue of Paul and Babe stands in Bemidji, Minnesota. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, according to John Enger of MPR News.

Minneapolis – Mill City Puzzle

Minneapolis - Mill City Puzzle

Minneapolis – Mill City is one of the first jigsaws created by PuzzleTwist, a Minnesota company. The ‘Twist’ on this 1,000 piece puzzle is that the beautiful city images on the actual puzzle move to different places compared to the image on the box. (Happily, that amazing image of the Minneapolis skyline as seen from the Mississippi River still takes center stage on the actual puzzle!)

The Stone Arch Bridge shown in the photo is the second oldest bridge on the Mississippi River. Railroad tycoon James J. Hill built it in 1883. At that time, the Great Northern Railroad brought 80 passengers a day into Union Station in St. Paul. (Wikipedia)
